The staff and management of Villa Maria do such a fantastic job looking after mum in the dementia ward. It’s often a thankless task … the staff have worked so hard during Covid, they are often short staffed and many are pulling double shifts to ensure there is coverage for all shifts to provide the best level of care for all their residents. Thank you for all your amazing hard work and support. Mum is being better cared for now than ever. Truly appreciate everything you do! Sincerely, Sue.
The worst experience-my mother and I are still shaken -I pulled my mother out as soon as I found a better solution -she had everything from infected wounds to covid to being able to abscond a locked ward -this was all in 7 months - -my mother said she’d rather die than be in there /the msu ward is a disgrace /screaming and yelling high care residents ,bored and pacing the corridors -mixed in with people with moderate dementia who have no peace and sleep deprivation . the so called activities are pathetic-staff rushed and often rude -your loved ones should have peace and joy in there last years -not hell.you’re paying for this ???promises never kept -non existent care plans -don’t be fooled by the pamphlets the reality is the antithesis of what they promise.
