Both my parents stayed there briefly towards the end of their life. The staff were super nice and very professional.

Be warned!!! This nursing home is bad!!! It is always short staffed and (not because of covid) therefore the residents, our loved ones are being grossly neglected. We received a phone call telling us that my father in law an 87 yr old was not responding and what did we want to do. My father in law had just had a chest infection and when we arrived he was frozen, shivering and dehydrated in his bed where he was left uncovered at night with the air conditioning on high when the weather was not very hot at all. Thank God we went there straight away, turned off the air conditioner, warmed him up and gave him two glasses of fluid which he drank. Otherwise he could have passed with hyperthermia and dehydration. When we spoke with the nurse she had a very unprofessional attitude and said she had no time to come and check on my father in law after we had helped him as she was short staffed. Believe me we will be taking this further our elderly deserve better!!!

Since new management commenced in 2019, many staff have left and standards have deteriorated. Make sure you thoroughly investigate before you place your loved ones in this establishment

The management team at this facility are very unprofessional and did not show any care or compassion towards my parents who were residents at Assisi luckily for a short period. we were lied to from the outset . they promised my father a permanent bed there if my mother entered as a permanent resident in the Dementia ward. after my father had been there a couple of weeks as a respite resident, they called us to come and pick him up as his bed had been promised to another family. we were given three days notice to find another facility . when discussing with the CEO Paul Cohen and the communications manager Gemma Leombruni that my father was on life support medication and had no where else to go, their response was that this was not their problem and the family had to sort it out. totally disgraceful service from this institution and I would never recommend it to anyone. my father is now in another nursing home which feels like a home and is surrounded by loving , caring and most of all thoughtful management.
