Maria I believe her name is, was extremely rude to me as walking in. I normally wait 5 minutes max with the nurse out the front for the covid test to come back negative. Today no nurse was there waiting out the front so I did it myself, I waited 2-5 min utill I saw it was a clear negative, then tried walking in. She stopped me and had the rudest tone ever saying “you didn’t wait 10 minutes go back out there” I know she’s trying to do her job but if she just said it in a friendly tone I would of been more than happy to wait the full 10 min. I went back to the front and another nurse was there waiting for his results to come back. I was there for another minute when he just told me to go in because no one ever waits 10 min. Once I walked in she said “you need to sign in” in a very angrier tone, I told her not to speak to me in that tone and she shut right up.

Words cannot express the gratitude I feel towards Allity as a company after my experience with Glendale aged care. As soon as you walk into Glendale, you can feel that it is a home. The place has such a lively atmosphere and incredible staff always around to assist. It has relieved a lot of my worries knowing my aunt is in good hands.

This is an amazing place if you’re looking to place your loved one into care. Staff work hard to ensure the best care possible is being delivered to their consumers. With management always available to assist, it lifted a lot of weight off my shoulders when my grandfather was admitted. The staff were amazing to my whole family after my grandfather had passed and I want to give a special thanks to management who were a great support to me and my family, making the whole situation so much easier. I highly recommend Glendale to anyone out there needing the right support for your loved one and their family too.

We looked at a number before deciding on Glendale 18 months ago. Have never regretted our decision. We have yet to meet an unpleasant staff member, from cleaner, carer, nurse, kitchen staff to management type. Facilities are great, even a cafe and an aviary. Activity groups and external bus visits are popular.
