About our home
Port Melbourne Hostel provides accommodation and support for 35 financially disadvantaged men and women aged 50 and over. It features six houses, each accommodating five to seven residents, with shared lounges, dining areas, kitchens, and laundries. Each resident has a fully furnished room with private bathroom facilities.
The hostel encourages a family-style environment supporting independence and personal lifestyles. It offers a comprehensive recreation program with outings, individualized plans, and facilities like a TV, games, billiards, BBQ, and library. The property features landscaped gardens and communal outdoor spaces with water features.

Wintringham is a great place for age care. They have cared for my father for 3 years he has experienced a good quality of care. He enjoys the company of other residents and staff are caring and respectful to all including family members.
