Our 102 year old mother/mother in law Isobel spent her last chapter in Turramurra House, a charming boutique nursing home surrounded by beautiful hedges and roses. The food, the care and the DON Fiona make this place feel like a home. Special thanks for the care of Isobel and our family in the last 2 days. A cup of tea or glass if wine gave us much comfort. Highly recommend this quaint , older style yet elegant home.
My sister was in Turramurra House for 5 1/2 years and I could not say enough about how wonderful the nursing home is. We checked out virtually every nursing home between Asquith and Roseville and this was the only one that I would have been happy to go into hence I felt comfortable putting my sister in there. The staff under Fiona Flood, the most brilliant DON, were all very kind and friendly. When you drive up to the building you see lovely gardens and when you walk in you get this lovely warm homely feel and it dose not SMELL. The residents are well fed and cared for and my sister actually put on weight as she was eating so well. I could not speak any more highly of the nursing home. Kris D.
