The home 🏠 s an old monestary. Organised activities for residents, from movement, arts, tai chi and word games to keep the mind active, plus gardening. The gardens surrounding the home are gorgeous, which are all accessible for residents using walkers, wheelchairs or motorised buggies. The staff are always friendly and happy, ready to help with any questions. Meals are prepared in the home. They do have covid testing before you enter the facility, which is a good thing. If your loved ones had pets at home, they are welcome to visit as well.

I don't feel that our loved one was adequately supported or cared for at this facility. I wouldn't recommend unless and until practices are reviewed and improved.

Understaffed just like every other aged care facility, but they're doing the best they can. Please don't put your family in a nursing home. Sell that second car. Don't go on that overseas holiday. You don't need designer clothing or private schools. What your loved one needs is for you to look after them in their own home as long as you can.

Mitchelton St. Vincents is is a great Nursing Home and Superior Dementia Unit I loved working there , friendly competent staff. Other Nursing homes under the same banner could learn from Mitchelton.
