During a difficult time for our family the age care staff were kind, caring and very available whilst settling my mother into Respite. She is enjoying the meals, and loving the pet therapy visits offered by the Health & Wellbeing Team. The staff appear happy caring for the residents in a difficult understaffed industry. A homely feel.
Shocking. Poorly run. My late husband spent many years there. I wouldn't wish this dump on my worst enemy.
I removed my loved one during 2020 from Sirius Cove after an indecent assault by another resident which was not reported to me for two and one half days. Little effective action was take except to move my loved one's room. It is run by a larger company, Hall & Prior, whose main interest is, I feel, financial.
Visiting my friend and the Nurse Manager walks in the room, "We need $5000.00 and MediCal needs information because we CANT HAVE YOU GO WITHOUT PAYING YOUR BILL." What happened to "How are you?" "Are you thirsty?" "Would you like a mouth swab or lip balm? ~ OUTRAGEOUS THAT MY FRIEND IS D-Y-I-N-G AND SHE IS ON "HOSPICE CARE?" ~
