Too many residents per nurse.Expect you to bounce between floors like superwoman.Poor pay. Staff skips meal breaks to get work done. Don't apply here.Male managers who are not nurses but business men.

If you want your loved one to be cared for in the right environment with a little dementia to start with and within a little over one year your Dad is dead, which in my opinion was due to lack of staff of all professions, please place your loved one some where else. Please note. When they transfer said loved one at 11am in the morning via ambulance to the hospital from a minor incident the night before, whilst Dad was dancing to ABBA with support workers, said loved one can be physically restrained in hospital (4 or 5 times in this instance), then get infections, they are not allowed to walk or do anything on their own and therefore deteriorate rapidly. I saw the physical restraint first hand, I'm glad i was there, it was the worst moment of my life until Dad's passing but Dad's first thought was to protect me and told burly security guards 'don't you touch my daughter'. My dad died roughly 12 weeks later, never to return to Regis. This occured, in my opinion, to Regis making the call that day, we did contact the aged care complaints commission 2 months prior to Dad's passing and pretty much nothing. He's passed now, authorities move on apparently. Regis will not provide the entirety of Dad's files. In my view, i hold them accountable for my Dad's death. This is my story and it's 100% worse than this, which started by Regis, in my view, having inadequate staff leading into a weekend.

The attention to medication requirements has been highly effective. Mum is now fully coherent as her blood sugar is kept steady and monitored. Dad is well cared for. The staff are always friendly and deal with sometimes challenging circumstances with professionalism and a sense of priority. The catering is excellent as is the room service. Our parents are extremely fortunate to be spending their remaining years here. Thankyou to the team at Regis Woodlands.
