I am a resident of the MVL for the past 8 months.. I can say without reservation that this facility provides an ideal home style atmosphere with all the services it supplies. The staff are caring and will go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant and clean as you would expect. Nursing staff are excellent and provide good clinical support to the Health service in Tasmania. Entertainment here is of the finest quality and you would need a personal secretary to handle all the internal and external functions one could attend. Even residents that are bed ridden are included in the activities. Residents are encouraged to be active within their home environment and to handle changes that suit them. Nothing is imposed on residents, except Legislated items. My condition is such that I can live here knowing that I am safe and being looked after. Please come and see for yourselves and the facility will sell itself. You wont be disappointed.
Animals are treated better than residents here are
