About our home
Pacific Lodge Aged Care Plus Centre is a 50-bed facility located near Collaroy Beach. It provides each resident with a fully furnished room that includes an en-suite, and connections for television and telephone. The Centre specializes in mental health care in addition to its general services, offering programs aimed at enhancing the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of its residents.
The facility features on-site meal preparation, well-maintained gardens, and a Christian environment. Amenities include various communal areas, sun rooms, lounge areas, television rooms, and a sensory garden. There is also a chapel with a full-time chaplain available. The Centre facilitates outside medical appointments for residents and welcomes both supported and non-supported individuals.

My mother has been a resident of Pacific Lodge for the past 3 years. Whilst there has been some positive improvements at this facility, there is a way to go. Increased manual handling for all care staff and clear concise communication for dementia residents,, more frequent live entertainment (covid allowing) and better training for staff and management of the lazy staff. Overall, the staff are kind and caring and some key staff are very professional and keep the place running, however, this is not across all streams of the facility and needs to be cross section of staff with adequate training to improve my rating.
My mother lives in Pacific Lodge Aged Care centre and she is well cared for by caring, dedicated staff. It is a very modern, clean facility, well run and the management has very good listening skills and acts on all requests and questions.
