NewDirection Care at Bellmere, located between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, is an innovative residential aged care facility designed as a microtown™. It features 17 houses, each housing 7 residents matched by values and lifestyle. Each resident enjoys a private ensuite bedroom and shares common living areas including a kitchen, laundry, dining, and sitting rooms.

The facility includes a variety of amenities such as a café, a corner store, a hair salon, a barber shop, a dental clinic, a GP clinic, a music studio with a mini grand piano, a hydro pool, a gym with HUR equipment, a needle & thread room, and an art deco cinema. Outdoor facilities include community gardens, chooks, dogs, and a men's shed. It aims to offer a life-like, family-unit style living experience to enhance comfort and sociability.
