About our home
RAAFA's McNamara Lodge features modern facilities and a variety of amenities tailored to its residents' comfort and enjoyment. The lodge boasts well-furnished lounge areas, a contemporary dining room where meals are prepared daily by a chef, and comprehensive Wi-Fi coverage. Residents can also indulge in numerous recreational activities in the large function room, partake in crafts, or enjoy live music and exercise classes.
Outdoor features include gardens with BBQ facilities for gatherings. Safety is prioritized with a nurse call system available around the clock. Accommodation includes recently upgraded ensuite rooms, some of which offer scenic views of the estate's landscaped gardens. We looked at many facilities when needing to put Nan (Joan) into care. Nan went into Mcnamarra lodge in September 2018. Over the years Nan was extremely well cared for. As a family member I felt heard and respected by staff, we were made to feel welcome . I'd like to thank all the staff at the facility, but especially those in Lawson house Rest Easy Nan 💖

We would like to thank McNamara Lodge and there fabulous staff especially Price House girls for the care given to our mother/mother in law over the last weeks of her life. Val was treated with respect, compassion and kindness by everyone. The staff could not have been more helpful in our time of need. There was always a cuppa and a shoulder when needed. Great job, so very glad we chose the beautiful Lodge. Thank you all, Helen
