J.H.F McDonald Wing is a 30-bed aged care facility that has undergone recent renovations. Staff are so kind and smiling, 99%. Meals are well presented and enjoyed by the residents. Lots of activities, special themes, eg. Naidoc Week, Halloween, Easter, and Christmas Decorations. Not forgetting Special Melbourne Cup, afternoon. Fabulous place for the residents, with Veg garden and flower garden for them to sit and enjoy.

I arrived to have an xray here as l was not up to driving on further to Sale this week after a doctors visit. I was very pleased to learn that the old Maffra Hospital site was providing the service of xrays again, and, being an "out of towner", very pleasantly surprised. This is a wonderful thing for Maffra to add to the community and l just hope it is used by the townfolk and surrounds or it may close. I wish it known that l am extremely grateful for this service and glad to pass it on to my friends and family to use as well.....thanks Maffra! P.S. my three children were born here also...
