J E Murray Home

The J.E. Murray Home is a 78-bed residential care facility located in Armadale, offering both high and low care permanent placements, as well as respite care. The facility features a 10-bed dementia-specific secure wing. It includes various lounges, dining rooms, and sitting nooks with quality armchairs and lounges in varied color schemes. Amenities include a kiosk, treatment room, hairdresser, and library nooks.

An on-site chef provides freshly cooked meals, and there are tea/coffee facilities in each wing. The facility boasts outdoor gardens with courtyards, raised beds, a herb garden, a balcony, and a landscaped pond area. Mobile BBQs are available for use in different outdoor areas.

The home offers aromatherapy, hand massages, manicures, exercise and pet therapies, entertainment, selected outings, and daily newspapers. It is staffed with a registered nurse available 24/7.
