Looked at a room for my mother in the low care section. The state of the room was disgusting with what I imagine was urine and fecal matter stains. The carpet was stained. The residents looked like they were drooling into their laps. The “daily activities” were a joke. Sunlight therapy, nail therapy, reminiscing. If my poor mother was placed there she would have ran in front of a truck and ended it all. This is where old peoples hopes and dreams go to die. IRT clearly don’t care about their residents well being and mental health. No wonder it’s not meeting basic government regulations.

My mum has been a resident for a few weeks now. I’m thrilled to say that the care that she is receiving and the friends she is making in this beautiful establishment has been a load off my mind. It’s such a difficult decision for the family to make. And in saying that we all couldn’t be happier.

The most understaffed terrible place I have seen, my grandmother is in there in a room that is like a hospital room, doesn't fresh outside air help with people any age. She lays in bed or sits in a chair, she has macular degeneration, so she cannot watch TV. Also having to wait for doctors. What is she paying for and what about the unit she sold to get in to this place, as well she is a war widow. What are veterans affairs doing about this.

A generally well managed facility. Staff at office always try to assist with coordinated visits during covid. Care staff are overworked but do there best to do there job with care and compassion. Facility is well maintained and food served to residents is average.
