It is a great place for walking or cycling. It can also be a destination for photography.
Several points: 1.During this pandemic changes to access occur frequently but IRT is not updating its access rules regularly. Some instructions are 6 days old - too long. Need to smarten up. 2. Medical instructions are not being followed. Doctor's written instructions are lost or ignored. Need to smarten up, again. 3. Sheets not being changed weekly. Same comment. 4. I have more adverse comments of a similar nature. Perhaps IRT has dropped the ball on thoroughness. I will be happy to upgrade my rating if and when improvement occurs but I hope management recognises that standards have slipped badly over the past year. Could not recommend IRT to likely residents on full care at present. Disappointed.
Great place, and fabulous facilities for when family want to visit
World class residential aged care facility situated right on the edge of Lake Ginninderra. Friendly staff, excellent food, modern facilities with gym and pool for independently living residents. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to move into care.
Our good friend lives here in the high care rooms and there is a great feel to the design and layout. Staff are very helpful and committed. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with bathroom attached. Our friend's room looks out on a delightful courtyard with plenty of shade areas to sit and picnic.
