My MIL has been a resident of MG now for over 3 years. Recently she lost her son who had been ill for a very long time. At 97 this was a very hard time for her. I wish to thank all the staff that supported her through this time especially Celeste who took a personal interest and went out of her way to be friendly and kind during this sad time. My MIL was and is very grateful for the special attention that was given her. We are so happy that we chose MG for her. Kerry Graves

We chose Melville a few years ago for mum and glad we did. I’d like to thank the caring staff for their kindness, compassion and being a family to their residents. The night shift team who not only extraordinarily cared for mum but also comforted the family during mum’s last few hours. Thanking all staff who treated mum as their own, most credit to Janine. To the DON Donna a canny young lass who’s so much on the ball and has brought in a convivial aura to the home, made such a huge difference. To the CSM Zenia for facilitating my family’s visits and for her unending support. She has a good head on her shoulders and brought my family together during our most challenging times. My family finds the staff at Melville in general to be caring, engaging and willing. Keep the flag flying melville.

Our dear Mum has been at MELVILLE Grange Berwick for just over 4years. From the very first day she moved in as a resident it was obvious to us that we had picked a beautiful home. Incredibly, all staff seemed to care equally for all residents. I am a frequent visitor ( 3-6 times per week ) and vary rarely have I seen anything that caused me concern. The DON who has just retired was the most wonderful caring DON/Manager and staff and residents alike held her in high esteem. She personally knew them all by name and addressed them accordingly. The new renovations have now finished, all of the rooms in the entire facility are brand new and beautifully appointed. The meals are constantly a wonder to me, a roast on most days with all the trimmings, a varied selection each and every meal, morning and afternoon tea, supper etc etc. I can smell the beautiful food at each visit and it actually looks as good as it smells. Nothing has ever been a problem when asked, I personally recommend MELVILLE Grange Berwick to any family who needs to find a safe and happy home for their loved family member..
