Great staff. Beautiful building and congenial atmosphere
I have many years experience working as a carer AND my agency recently posted me to a shift at this amazing facility. Without question THE most serine and purpose built and appointed facility I have EVER worked in. Nothing visibly suggests this is a nursing home. I look forward to further shifts in this location. Even the staff were happy which was a highlight for me, that spoke volumes 🥰 I don't expect this comes cheap but my goodness it is worth every penny for your loved ones❤️
If you like your loved one (who had a stroke) not having access to water jug for the first few days and having the call button wrapped around there bed (therefore unable to call for help if needed) then this is the place to leave your loved one.
We just settled my mum-in-law into Harbour Quays. All I can say is WOW! "Pet Friendly" is a huge plus, how lovely and rare to see well-behaved dogs, cats and even birds living with their owners (Yes! Places that allow pets DO exist!) Family and friends can dine with their loved ones too...and enjoy a glass of wine etc. The food is excellent. The staff are absolutely incredible...from the professional receptionist to the exceptional medical team, nurses and right to the cleaners, food service and even the handyman. Everyone is lovely, upbuilding, genuinely caring, especially the Managers and supervisors. Not one person was rushed or impatient. HQ is immaculately clean, spacious, sparkling and bright. The atmosphere is totally positive and encouraging. Lots of places to find privacy and peace. Everyone smiled said a warm hello, even the residents we met along the way. Huge relief when your loved one is happy. Harbour Quays Aged Care is a superb, pet-friendly, aged care facility. A+ HQ!
My Dad was placed in the aged acre facility. He was a reasonably independent person . His condition deteriorated but the nurses and the care assistants have been marvellous and have given him the care that he has needed. They are thoughtful not judging him. I feel like we have found a place that cares for my dad and I can trust that they are doing their best for him.
