My Mum Eileen passed away peacefully at Estia Health Maroochydore after being admitted for respite care for her end of life. The staff were excellent in their care for her and always kept us informed of how she was. Excellent facilities and beautiful caring staff, Thank you. Lynne
Poor care, always short staffed which equates to sub standard care. The carers/nurses are great but under so much pressure due to very poor management. I would not want to end up there. I'm so sorry my brother did.

The staff & systems these facilities have in place are the benchmark for the aged care industry. This is a bold statement but the following is an example of one person's experience. We were very fortunate that an unbonded position became available at Estia's Twin Waters facility. My partner & I vetted the place by asking a resident what his thoughts on Estia were, he was so pleased with the treatment he was getting that despite being able to return home, his family having come back from an overseas holiday, he stated. "No I don't want to go home...I get breakfast in bed here!" My father was not expected to make Christmas 2017, such were his medical issues. Estia's nursing staff saw my dad make his 83rd & 84th birthdays, his 60th wedding anniversary (an event that was organized & catered for by Estia, guests included) & Christmas 2018, 19 & 20. He passed away peacefully in January, 2 staff members were with him at the end. We had been notified of his failing condition & had the opportunity to say our goodbyes. Thank you Estia Health for the wonderful care you provided. I would happily recommend Estia Health to anyone with someone in need of around the clock care. Attentive to a fault.
