Generally ok. Impossible to reach by phone on weekends and EVEN Christmas Day. My mum is dying and I can't contact them to organise a visitation !!!
Good well presented place with very helpful staff
Great people .great place I loved it there as I think the garden is beautiful and it's a happy place .
Wouldn't recommend. Staff are horrible, they don't truly care. Left residents on toilets for 35mins+ and most are not fit to be carers, as most have been in the industry too long. Hygiene is very poor.
My mum has been in Estia for 3 weeks now and they are very nice to her, the rooms are nice and they are clean they change her linen every day, she has her own bathroom, every week there is something for her to do, there have carpet bowls get together's and sing, and more things to do, she can go to church every second Sunday,I feel happier knowing mum is being looked after, would much rather live with one of her children but she is better where she can get the help she needs ,and she is only a few minutes away from the Hospital, that gives me peace of mind. I have only given 4 stars as they say they have Chef's cooking but that is not the case , sometimes the food is not what you would want it to be, you know being over cooked and not alot of it, but thankfully they are getting better,and they are now cooking mums eggs the way she likes them, which may sound like nothing to complain about, but it's the little things that make the stay feel more like home not only for mum but for all the lovely people who call it home, and one more thing she can have her room how she likes with her things that she loves around her.
