About our home
Ainslie, part of Donwood Community Aged Care Services, is a secure, dementia-specific facility located in Croydon. It serves 60 residents and features 30 beds in memory support units, two respite beds, and six independent living units. The aged care home offers supervised communal and individual activity spaces, including a bright central living area with full-height windows and external gardens and courtyards.
Donwood is a not-for-profit organization, focusing on the safety, happiness, and comfort of its residents. Facilities also include an on-site café open to residents and their families, a new administration building, and a function room. Additionally, allied health providers visit as needed. What you get is a staff that make you feel at home. That is what makes this one easily amongst the best.
I and others were doing our Physio class for our aches and pains. But it was a sad day too, our instructor has Retired! 😩😩😩😩 But we will have a new instructor next week and we will like her as well. 🤗🤗🤗🤗 Have a Nice Weekend. Well our New Instructor is lovely.
We ofter pop in for a cuppa and cake at their modern and cheap cafe. Indoor and outdoor seating.
A nice little cafe, the staff are incrediblely friendly and nice and the service is fast. I tried their iced coffee and lemon slice and it's quite nice individually having decent prices. The customers and regulars are on the elderly side so it gets nice and quiet inside. It's pretty new and overall it's a nice place to hangout if you want a bit of peace and quiet.
