Cumberland View Aged Care Living - Whalley Drive

Where do you start with this facility. Care is below standard, residents are left slumped in chairs for hours at a time. Unsure how a facility like this obtains accreditation. Have visited a resident in here a number of times, and staff appear to want to help the residents however staff are being told by management to leave that resident as they have spent too much time with them. I need to consider looking for a facility for my parents and this one definitely does not make the list.

After my experience of Cumberland Villiage thru my now deseased parents and their wonderful friends and neighbours there - I truely can imagine I will want to retire into the same nice place and way of living. Thanks to Angela and her staff for making it as good as it was for them.

Can't express how happy I am to know my dad is at Cumberland View. My Grandmother In-Law was looked after here for many years and when my dad needed care it was my first choice. It's such a tough process, but Brian and the whole team at Cumberland showed compassion, competence and care at every step. I can't recommend Cumberland highly enough. Many thanks to everyone involved. I know my dad is receiving the best care possible.

Worst decision ever putting our mother in to aged care at cumberland view. Always short staffed. Seems they have more agency nurses than they do permanent staff. Patients buzz for help and are left waiting. Our mother was left in soiled incontinent pants for 1.5 hours and was told each time a nurse came in there were only night pants and they would come back. Never did. The last time she buzzed and someone came, she was told they would change her before dinner.
