There is so much negative feedback about Aged Care Facilities that when I was asked to write a review for Clovelly, I jumped at the chance. I really can't speak highly enough of Clovelly Cottage/Autumn Aged Care and their awesome staff, nor can I thank them enough for the wonderful care that they provide to my mum. The staff look after my mum as if she were their own. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of them. They call me whenever there is an issue or mum is simply not well or she is resident of the day. I would highly recommend Clovelly Cottage to anyone who is thinking of going into Aged Care or a loved one needs respite. Clovelly puts on activities for the residents, and mark special events like the recent Melbourne Cup, Remembrance Day etc. In the next couple of weeks, Clovelly are preparing for a family Christmas picnic where each resident will be able to have time with their family. During the lockdowns over the past 20 months, Clovelly provided iPads for FaceTime chats or zoom meetings with our loved ones. While I could not go in and see my mum at least I knew she was okay because she look well and said she felt okay too. I am so grateful to all of the wonderful and awesome staff at Clovelly because without you, I would have to give up work just to look after my mum. Your generosity, time and the care you provide is simply above and beyond all of my expectations. Once again, thank you so much for you magnificent care of my mum. Cheers, Kes

Great Staff, Nurses, Personal carers, Kitchen and Activities. Food is excellent like either home cooked moist and soft for elderly or pub style fish & chips I can personally say. My elderly parent receives very good care here and we both gratefully appreciate.😊😊 Plenty of activities in house so it is not for those that wish extetnal daily bus outings. For us this however is perfect.

Newly updated rooms and common areas are clean and well presented and a home away from home.The nursing staff were professional and caring at all times, the great thing about a smaller homes is that you are treated as person and not a number. The stand out was the food, the fish and chips were as good as any pub! A highly recommended local business.

My mother-in-law was in this care facility for about 18 months. The food was below anything I would feed a human. Consistent complaints from so many other residents but never addressed. The carers and nurses always trying but never given support. Some nights there were literally no one around if something had happened to a resident. Do your research first. Now she’s happy in another facility.
