My husband was in for two weeks respite. His care was excellent & I was informed by phone if there was anything to report. Staff were caring & the meals were lovely. Clean & freshly decorated comfortable rooms. I was always greeted cheerfully by staff.
Well I'm only reviewing after our mum has spent a week in there, and we can not fault them on the care and attention they are showing her. She is bed bound but very well looked after. We were impressed from the initial tour and have been sold on the staff ever since.
My mother has been a long time resident here. I cannot fault the staff responsible for her care. Unfortunately her teeth all came out and I don't understand why that would be. I have heard other family complaining that their relatives residing here, had the same problem. Apart from this, the place is excellent. There are lovely areas to walk or sit. A Cafe, theatre and large family dining room. The single rooms are spacious and tidy. Mostly they are kept clean. As family, I am kept informed, consulted and updated via email/newsletter. There seems to be a constant turnover of staff. But this doesn't affect anything to do with the excellent care and standards of the home. I would recommend Calamvale Parklands, without any hesitation. Many of my family are very Impressed by it.
