Great place for the elderly, great staff members.
I visited my grandma today for the first time since she’s just recently moved in. I had a beautiful day and was very happy with how staff not only treated and cared for my grandma but also me.
Reception staff on duty wasn’t very welcoming. Had the attitude of what do you want found her to be very rude. Not a great impression for the nursing home. Plus seeing staff across the road smoking glaring at people doesn’t look good either. I found the nursing staff more helpful and friendly.
After looking after our father in his own home for 2 years we had to put Dad into care. The carers and staff at Bundaleer lodge were wonderful to Dad. He was very apprehensive about moving out of his house but the treatment he got there was first class. Meals were fantastic and large portions. The meals were better than he was getting at home. We picked out his meals every week in advance and we visited every day. We had to RAT test daily before visiting, but Bundaleer provided free RAT tests. Aged care is expensive. We were directed to Centrelink by the staff at Bundaleer and they worked out what it would cost once Dad's income and assets were reviewed. I don't like the way it is calculated by Centrelink, but I guess it's fair. People with assets & investments pay more than people who have nothing. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bundaleer Lodge and am grateful for the care and attention staff gave my Dad in the last 6 months of his life.
staff are rude and non compliant with dietary requests. I would not put my worst enemy in this place!
