About our home
Brightwater The Cove, situated in Mariner's Cove in Dudley Park, is a recently renovated aged care home offering 131 private rooms distributed across seven individual houses. Each house provides a homey atmosphere with its own living room, kitchen, and dining room, surrounded by expansive courtyard gardens and gazebo areas.
The facility includes a large clubhouse, hairdressing salon, small library, and a physio gym. A professional catering team produces dietitian-approved meals suitable for various dietary needs. Brightwater The Cove features an in-house allied health team, consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, and social workers, ensuring comprehensive care. Regular recreational activities and specialised care for residents with advanced dementia or high care needs are also available.

Thanks to The Cove for the high standard of care that I see when I visit my father each week. Under very testing circumstances over the past few years, Brightwater has responded to the challenges in a positive and sensitive way. At a time where there has been so much focus on the deficiencies of aged care, The Cove's management and staff have been professional and proactive. It's so easy to blame the government, providers, and other institutions, but we all have a role to play as a community, a nation, and as taxpayers. I did a brief stint as a carer when I was a student, so I do speak from some experience. I just want to register my appreciation for the huge efforts made by Brightwater generally, and The Cove more specifically. We value the service and care you provide our loved ones.
