Very lacking. Nurses not checking patient notes. No supervision of tablet taking. Rooms and toilets not cleaned daily. My wife fell twice. Her arm was injured by smashing her arm on door frame. When finished gym. Stolen property after many many reports to at least eight people. No result. Could go on. But!!!!!!
Don't hate it, just didn't agree with me!
Southern Cross Belview in Gawler is a great place to recover from injury or illness. The staff are brilliant and do a great job even though as with all areas of the health system they are always under staffed and under pressure. The reason I did not give a full five star rating is due to the issue of a resident causing constant sleepless nights by screaming and moaning very loudly at night and not letting the other residents any peace and quiet to get some sleep. Myself and another resident in neighbouring rooms have complained constantly to the carers and nursing staff for the last four plus weeks and nothing has been done to remedy the situation except the other resident was told he would be sent back to hospital if he did not stop complaining. Otherwise I recommend this Tradition Care Facility as a great place to recover and get back to a normal life at home with family

After 4 different hospitals finally got sent to this rehab facility. Best thing ever happened to hubby, food was great and they complied with his dietary likes. The Physios helped him walk with great help and encouragement, all staff very friendly and helpful. 85yrs old,fractured hip almost every other doctor had given up on him but not in Southern Cross. Thank you everyone he is now home and walking and being just as cheeky
