Bairnsdale Nursing Home, part of Maddocks Gardens, is a 17-bed facility dedicated to residents with dementia, frail aged with complex needs, and the Aboriginal population. Mum is well looked after by the friendly and obliging staff. Good food and service. She has a lovely spacious clean room looking out onto a patio facing east, right behind Bairnsdale Regional Hospital. The layout of the nursing home is appealing. Outdoor garden area is well set up for resident participation; raised garden beds. Interactive areas; a concert area and large screen area in Sutherland Lodge. 👍
The staff at Maddocks Gardens were amazing for my Grandma and our family. I cannot thank them enough for the kind and nurturing care that my Grandma received. They all went above and beyond to keep her content and comfortable right up until the very end. The staff were caring and supportive for our family. Will 100% recommend Maddocks Gardens to anyone looking for aged care.
