I had the pleasure of attending my friends wedding at the home and it was beautiful, the gardens are lovely, and the staff are very friendly.
A very transparent and professional organisation with a primary focus on the residents and their ongoing and future well-being. They also though, have care and compassion for the friends and family of the resident assisting with any inquiries. Modern, well appointed and well maintained conditions. Rest assured that your loved one will be cared for in a wonderful community.
My Dad Ian (curly) Cardell spent his last month and a few weeks in Opal. The level of care and compassion of the staff was impeccable . As a family we felt comfort in knowing when we left he was in the right hands ❤️ My Mum after 53 years of marriage had to be with him for his last days 🙁 the staff set up a bed for mum in dads room and made sure she was feed and always had a cupa tea ☕️ I lost count of the times I just started crying it seemed like there was always a staff member around to give me a hug and reassure me Dad was comfy and pain free ❤️ So just a amazing mix of personality’s that are there for the for the right reasons..... to keep your loved one comfy in there last days. I have been visiting this particular Opal for the last 3 years on a regular basis and can certainly say that my father is very happy there and is cared for very well.The staff are polite and helpful and the patients receive good care and attention.
