Think again before placing a loved one in facility… poor medical care and treatment my father received, resulting in rapid deterioration and death… even after findings from aged care commission they have never contacted…. Arcare Templestowe is modern, clean and comfortable. The nursing staff are doing a great job even under difficult circumstances and minimal staffing. If this is what you want for your loved one, then look no further. But after 3 years of my mother complaining of the food quality, she has succumbed to sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals are so so bad that the waste bins are full of uneaten food. What's the point in residence paying for food that ends in landfill. I have seen and tasted the meals for myself. Undercooked, overcooked, unrecognisable food, you name it, they'll serve it. As an elderly you deserve better. I'm sure I'll get a response by arcare but this is not the first time there has been food complaints and being promised it will be rectified.

This facility looks impressive and provides good care. The downfall is the horrible food prepared. Many attempts have been made to management, emails and meetings with absolutely no outcome to rectify the u healthy tasteless mush they serve residents. It’s appalling. They do not care as they assume they are old and it doesn’t matter. Residents pay a very high levy for food per week and it is not acceptable.

We currently have a loved one in Arcare Templestowe and are happy with the level of care and service. Adam the Residence Manager has been very supportive and compassionate whilst dealing with us & overseeing our loved ones transition into high care. The staff/personal carers have been lovely. Thank you.

Arcare Templestowe has exceeded our expectations time and time again, and has enabled our family to finally rest easy knowing our loved one is being cared for 24 hours and day, 7 days a week. Not only is the residence modern, clean and spacious, it is also extremely safe and secure. Thank you to all the team members at Arcare especially Lorraine and Adam who have made my loved one feel right at home from her very first day!
