My Dad George has just been admitted to this wonderful aged care facility . The nurses and assistants were so caring and patient . The reception staff in the lead up to his admission were always extremely helpful and a special mention to Alwyn in Brisbane for her patience and time spent organising and answering my never ending questions while waiting for his move . Refuses to pay their workers a decent wage. Retail employees earn more. Relies on agency workers to staff their facility however wants to get rid of them too because they cost too much. Fancy looking facility but lacks the appropriate management and staff to run and care for residents safely.

I recently lost my best friend, my mother. My brother and I were always dubious of aged care facilities due to the fear passed on to us from Mum. She never wanted to be in one, we never wanted to admit her to one. Alas, she was diagnosed with dementia and it became inevitable. From the very first day the staff at Arcare Northshore showed the utmost patience and respect for Mum. An awkward and unwanted situation made more tolerable by the fact we felt Mum was safe. She was cared for with the kind of empathy her own family would show. She was provided with a level of dignity that others may never know. My brother and I cannot express how grateful we are that we were blessed to have such professional and caring staff watch over Mum until her very last breath. God bless you all.

Amazing staff and facility who go far beyond to ensure family members are cared for in a dignified and efficient manner
