Situated in a beautiful location with caring, helpful staff. A village bus takes residents to town three mornings a week. Since RSL Life Care took over from Anglicare smoking is permitted in the units. This provides a health risk to other residents as many units are close together.

The best move we as a family made, was to move our mother from independent living in the Bimbimbie Village, with the wonderful care from Kerrie De Waard, to Albert Moore Gardens, in the same grounds, headed by Julie the Manager of the Hostel, settling our mother in and making her feel so welcome, you are a truly dedicated RN Manager. The staff are so kind and helpful, this " new home" for mother is second to none. Thank you Julie, Kerrie, Elsa, Mikey, Summer and ALL the staff.

I am the Recreation officer at Albert Moore Gardens in Merimbula. It was a very turbulent and difficult time with the Bushfires on the Far South Coast of NSW, but I cannot praise our Mangagers enough for what they have done during this crisis. All 3 managers were supportive, caring, and lead their teams from the top down. Julie Evans was especially outstanding. She handled the extra residents with patience and managed to keep the residents and staff calm during very very scary days . Her strength of character was a pillar of strength to us all. Staff across the 3 facilities were wonderful too, especially our catering staff - Rob Fieg from Albert Moore Gardens in particular. I am so proud to be part of this fantastic team. Our Grandma lives at Bimbimbie and as a family we couldn't be happier! She constantly comments on how kind all the staff are to her and she has so much appreciation towards them. As with all businesses, the person at the top makes a huge difference on how the place is ran and the working environment they create. At Bimbimbie, you couldn't ask for a more kind, caring, patient, competent, friendly person than Julie. She is an absolute gem and is a credit to her profession! To all the staff, thank you for being so wonerful to our Grandma! Tracy x
