My mother was in this facility,we went every day and were in the process of moving her.The care was of a very low standard, some of the staff treated residents without any real compassion or care, when we complained about two of the carers they were just moved to a different section.Would not recommend!!!
May look very nice aesthetically but remember, "Everything that glitters, is not gold", don't let the opulence fool you into thinking the care is of the same standard. Unfortunately, the careless carers/nurses, out number the truly lovely carers/nurses.
My mother was in this home for five months,in this time my family had so many complaints. We had to get two staff banned from my mothers room after being told at night, residents were yelled at if they rang their bell. These two would tell residents at night if they wanted to go to the bathroom to just do it in their bed.My mother had an operation on her arm, after coming back the very next day,i arrived in the morning to find her arm saturated, they didnt even cover when showering. Not enough staff !In saying this there are a few staff who are dedicated, nurse Trish, carer Nunca and physio staff.I would not recommend this home.Shelley Middleton. All about money not care.
Had my grandma in this age care facility 2016. Anyway my grandma only was only in for 2 months as we couldn't get her out fast enough. She walked into that facility and came out of that facility 2 months later with 3 pressure sore (one that still hasn't healed) and not being able to ever walk again.
Mum has been a resident at Aegis St Michael's North Perth for several months. I cannot speak highly enough of the facility. The carers, nursing staff and admin personnel are dedicated, approachable and very professional. The attention and care given to mum and residents is exceptional. The facility is like welcoming and beautifully set out. We are so fortunate that a vacancy became available for mum to be accommodated. Thank you to all the wonderful team at St Michael's.
