Where to start, I worked at this “establishment” far too long and will never, I repeat NEVER get my time back. The incompetence of this corporation still surprises me 3 years later. I don’t know if I’m shocked or disgusted by this joke of a facility. Most staff were easy to work with and caring, however management was disgusting and incredibly toxic. The way they spoke to staff was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, they speak down to staff as if they were chump change. Working for Montgomery House has been nothing but a nightmare that I am glad to have escaped from.
Could’ve made it a Museum or just fixed it up and left it as the piece of history that it was for almost 40 years. Disgraceful
This place is like the inside of my grandmothers nether region...haunted as
Absolutely disgusted at some of the workers in this place. I've heard from my grandma that one carer in particular that does activities with long black hair (wont put names to save her the embarrassment) is a "rude witch" - in my grandmas words, and is disrespectful not only to residents but to her co-workers aswell. My nana is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever come across and to think someone is being rude to her sickens me to my stomach. If it were up to me I'd have her fired or my grandmother taken somewhere where there isn't a toxic environment for the people taking care of her. I expect way better and I just want whats best for her.
