Contacted Abel Tasman to enquire about home care support. Received an initial email response saying they were able to provide the support and very interested. Sent further information back and got no response - sent follow up emails and still got no response. Very discourteous company - because if this is how they behave BEFORE you engage them contractually - with no responses, I can only imagine how bad they are after a contractual engagement when they have your money. If they weren't interested, then a very simple email would have been appropriate. Based on this experience, I would say Caveat Emptor!

Sadly my Father was only there for 21days. I couldn't praise the staff highly enough. The care and compassion for Dad and extended to us was beyond the highest standards. Well done to all staff.

Amazing place to work, they take in a lot of students from TAFE. Management needs to do alot more training for their staff and be more open so that staff feel like that can express their opinions on how to improve the place and to tell people if they arent being treated with respect in the workplace

I think Abel Tasman Village is a great place. My father-law was there for 6months before he died and I could not fault the care and consideration he was given. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
