The Frank & Jess Kennett Home is a 24-bed aged care hostel located in Stanwell Park, New South Wales. This is a wonderful village offering care for your elderly parents or grandparents. There's self-care units and apartments. As well as two units that offer high nursing care for those who are unable to care for themselves or who might have dementia or other related conditions.
This facility was built without adequate off street parking for staff or guests despite multiple warnings from residents during the DA process and despite there being ample space to build off street parking. The entrance is in the wrong location. Railway crescent lacks even the most basic infrastructure (thanks to decades of council neglect) and is extremely narrow. This facility has exacerbated these issues and creates a huge number of vehicles that park on the street, blocking access and in some places making it impossible for vehicles to pass each other. Visitors often park across other people's driveways or on the footpath. Staff constantly smoke infront of neighbouring properties, smoke enters neighbours homes day and night. This has to stop.
