About our home
RFBI Holt Masonic Village is a 53 bed aged care facility located in the Belconnen area of Canbera. The home provides residents with seasonal quality meals prepared onsite by professional chefs. My Dad, who passed away recently spent his last 18 months here. Although the interior is a little tired in places, the care he received here was second to none. Not an easy man to please, Dad really enjoyed the food particularly 'fish and chip Friday' as it became known to his family and the roast chicken. He never once complained about the food or the wonderful carers or cleaning staff. With the covid 19 epidemic, the facility shut down before it became compulsory which made life difficult for Dad but was clearly the right thing to do. The treatment provided to Dad and our family members in his last days was caring and compassionate and we thank you all so very much.
