Jesmond Aged Care is a fully accredited facility providing full-time residential and respite care with a focus on lifestyle enhancement. It offers personalized care plans and features a diverse menu catering to South Asian and Western tastes. Staff languages include Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Nepali, Tagalog, and English.
The facility has a dynamic leisure and lifestyle program that encompasses diversional therapy, recreational activities, Skype access, aromatherapy, music therapy, and various games. Special cultural and religious events are celebrated, accommodating Anglican, Catholic, Christian, and Hindu practices.

My father was living on his own for a long time. When he got sick and couldn't look after himself, I suggested he goes to an aged care. He refused. Since Jesmond is culturally appropriate for our community, I persuaded him to come here as respite resident and give it a try. That was August 2017. Rest is history. He is very happy with the food, services, nursing care, entertainment you name it. Now he promotes the place to the newcomers. In the last 3+ years, the place has been refurbished to a modern facility. Due to work commitments and distance, I only visit him once a week. But I am comfortable that my father is in safe hands and being looked after very well. Management is approachable. They listen and take action appropriately. I will recommend this place to anyone who would like to leave their loved ones in a safe, caring , homely place. This is a home away from home.
