Heritage Illawong have been excellent in the care of my beloved mother. The staff are so caring and helpful to Mum and myself - if there is a health problem they contact me immediately - the rooms are nice, bright and very clean and even my fussy Mum liked the food. I cannot recommend Heritage Illawong highly enough and thank them sincerely for giving me peace of mind knowing that Mum is so well cared for.

If staff aren't treated well, don't expect your customers to get proper care. Rajendran (general manager) is unprofessional and has no empathy. He does not have the customer and staff wellbeing as his priority. Don't be fooled by his sales pitch.

Do not place your loved one into the hands of Heritage Illawong Aged Care, if you love them. My mother and sister were placed in the same place, under the previous ownership (Sir Thomas Mitchell Aged Care). The level of care was excellent. REALLY excellent. Staff were on a first name basis, food was excellent and the care was similarly excellent. As soon as Heritage took over, 30% of the staff were let go and the level of care fell dramatically. Few familiar faces can be noted on each visit. Avoid.
