Nice place. Could use extra staff
A friend of mine has recently become a resident here. The over-all facility is very new and up to date. The management and staff seem to be adequate, however it is too early for me to make knowledgeable judgement. That said, Helping Hand runs a number of aged care facilities in Adelaide and have an excellent reputation.
Amazing care amazing staff amazing facilities... I was so happy my Nana got to spend her remaining years being cared for by Helping Hand at Lightsview. I will definitely pop in and say hello for years to come. Thank You again!
My mother is here, lovely centre, great care for the elderly, staff very helpful and lots of interesting things for the occupants to do.
Save yourself the heartache. Look elsewhere. The facilities are new and lovely. But the food is below canteen standard. Boiled meat anyone? Hard burnt schnitzel? Most worrying is the inexperienced and insufficient staffing issues, and the resulting compromise in the level of care. Our resident had her wits about her, luckily, and an involved family that regularly had to advocate on her behalf. Our elderly deserve much better.
