Excellent home for the aged
Patient care is the priority at this hostel.
My late father, Jack McClure was a resident at Haydays for several years. Our family are eternally grateful to the dedicated staff for the outstanding care and loving attention provided to him, right up to the time of his passing. You are incredible people.
No Accommodation fee for respite
You will only pay the Basic daily fee and may pay an additional services fee.
Concessional residents welcome
Haydays Retirement Hostel supports eligible government funded residents with subsidised fees.
Instead of paying a RAD you can choose to pay a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) which is a non-refundable daily fee, based on the room price and the maximum permissable interest rate set by the Department of Health and Aged Care.
Residents at Haydays Retirement Hostel on average received 210 minutes of total daily care (116% target) from a combination of support workers, enrolled and registered nurses. In May 2025, a Registered Nurse was on site 12:07 hours per day.
