A family friend was placed in here, and had not the best experience. When he asked to go to the toilet, they put a pad on him and didnt walk him to the toilet, even though he is capable. The food was described as "disgusting" by the individuals' children when visiting.
Estia Health Albany Creek is an excellent place that caters for permanent or Respite aged care people. Estia Health Albany Creek also caters for couples to be accommodated in the one room. This place comfortable allows for 70 people to be accommodated for. A very affordable place for people that can't afford to pay a higher amount of RAD for long term accommodation. The staff at Estia Health Albany Creek are more than capable of ensuring the people that live there "Full Time " or are there short term are looked after in a very caring manner. Nothing is too hard to do for the staff that work there. The one thing I have noticed that most staff have been there for many years. I can strongly recommend that anyone looking for an aged care facility to get in touch with Estia Health at this location. Currently at Estia Health Albany Creek, strict Covid-19 restrictions are in place which does make it hard on the residents that live there. Fortunately, there have been no cases of Coranaviris detected during this pandemic, which is an excellent result.
My husband has been to Estia Health for short term respite on three occasions. Patients always look clean, well dressed and groomed. I have found the staff are very kind, caring and obliging. They offer feedback and keep us informed of any concerns. My husband always seems settled and peaceful whenever he stays there.
My niece and I will always be grateful for the loving care you provided for my sister over the past eight years. It was obvious that she trusted you and felt comfortable and secure as she never showed any signs of agitation or discomfort in her advanced dementia. My sister passed away peacefully and with dignity on 25 March and for that we are also appreciative. To all the staff, know that, in our minds, you are angels. Again, thank you.
My father has now passed on, but the staff at Estia Health will remain in our minds for being so caring and for making my fathers last year much more comfortable by their special care and kindness my father received. We the family were always made to feel welcome when visiting. We will miss the staff and residence that we all came to know and respect. We will also miss my loving father who lived a very full and wonderful life. Thank you to all the staff that showed such kindness to my father. Dad Rest in Peace we already miss you so much, but you are now in a better place and you are now set free from any disabilities and sickness, love you always
