Booked in for a tour. Had a chat with the manager and as soon as they found out I didn't have $700,000 they were no longer interested to show me around. Two months later I phoned to see if any beds available as my mum was ready to be discharged from the hospital. Spoke to five different people, every single one telling me a different story. Each day they had a different number of beds available. From 3 to 0 to 2 and so on. Finally received a call from the manager, apparently they can't meet my mums needs. When I asked for details they couldn't give me an exact reason and what type of care they weren't able to provide. Seems to me they're all about $$$...

Dear Kamala, Aikenhead staff, Cahill staff & all the staff @ Holy Spirit, Our mum always had very strong views on care homes and that was she never wanted us to put her in one. Come October 2022 after being told that she would have to go into care because of her needs, we had to make that decision a decision that we never wanted to make. Can we just say from our first meeting and look around Holy Spirit, it felt so comfortable, so caring and we were so happy when you rang to give our mum a place there. We can never say thank you enough for caring for our beautiful mum over the past two months. Your love, your compassion, your kindness is unbeilable, Nothing was ever too much to ask and you kept us updated on everything. Sadly we had to say goodbye, but it gave us so much comfort that the last couple of months she had the caring she deserved and that was because of all of you. Kindest regards & God bless 🙏🏻
