I find that the staff are very good, but senior staff don't communicate with doctors about how patients medical needs are & keep people in their rooms when they can go out?? As I find this to be very bad indeed,
I highly recommend Carshalton House based on my mother's experiences as a resident there for approximately 4 years. The staff are lovely, caring & very helpful. The facilities are very good & the rooms are large and bright (many rooms with pleasant views of the surrounding curated gardens). The food is of a high standard & they celebrate special occasions with complementary birthday cakes and a Xmas lunch etc. Carshalton House has a homely feel (unlike some of the bigger places that are more clinical in appearance) and my mother felt very comfortable living there. Unfortunately my mother had to leave Carshalton (as she required a higher level of care) but I would happily place her back there if it was possible.
Friendly staff and pleasant environment.
This place is s great place to retire to. It's not the latest or most modern accommodation by any means, but the rooms are nice and the staff are great. They are really caring and looking after the residents so well. I'd be happy to live there when my time comes. It has a good,friendly atmosphere.
