Honestly, in this day and age of bad reporting about Aged Care Facilities, this place is one of, if not, the best facilities. The staff are so amazing and caring. From the management down to everyone, I can rest assured my dad is always looked after and this has enabled me to travel Overseas again, with staff emailing me every week with an update on him, or any medical or caring issue is emailed or phoned to me immediately. The majority of the staff working there are local, and gosh they are so so approachable, caring, natural and so engaging with the residents. When public submissions were being taken into The Aged Care commission, I made sure they heard from me, as the positive was being drowned by the negative. We are quick to point out the bad places but never the good. So this is my flashing neon sign directing praise their way. Thank you to ALL the Staff at Bupa Kyneton, Victoria.

I am a Well-being Co ordinator, I was visit a client for a period over two weeks that was in respite at Buppa Kyneton. Due to my profession I have experienced many aged care facilities and more so recently in particular dementia specific units. What caught my attention were two staff members working in the Lifestyle team, Gabby and Matilda. The programs they were running and the individual person centered care they were giving to residents in their care. It was consistent, engaging and meaningful. I loved observing their connections with each resident. They were both wonderful to observe. The unit itself felt calm and homely, with interactive boards on walls, and large engaging pictures. I also have to comment on staff at front desk that made me feel comfortable with their positive energy. My visits happened to be over lunch time and I have to say the meals looked wonderful also.

My father Jim Sevenich was a resident at Bupa Kyneton for 2 years until his recent passing . I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful facilities and staff who were more than just " aged care workers " . He loved his time there and although he had his moments due to his dementia , he was given the utmost care and respect . He loved the beautiful gardens there and l was so lucky to have been able to spend those moments with him being somewhere that felt like home to him . Thank you to the amazing staff at Bupa Kyneton - you were my dad's family when we couldn't be there .. You kept him safe and he was part of a family that l am so lucky to have had when l could not be there . Thank you to every single member of the Bupa Team . You are my heroes 🌹
