I have found the services provided by Bupa Echuca to be of the highest standard. All aspects of the service are very much person focused and humanistic in nature providing a safe environment for the residents. My sister (Margaret Oman) is extremely happy with the facility and the care provided. The management of the facility is highly committed to providing quality health care delivery that addresses the needs of the residents both as a collective and on an individual basis which is clearly evident in all levels of staff. It was with a significant amount of trepidation that we placed my Dad in BUPA Echuca for respite care. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The nursing home is bright and new with plenty of space for residents to mingle or find a quiet corner. There are great facilities including a sports room, dining area and the gardens are lovely. The BUPA team are excellent…they have faced challenges over the past year including COVID, floods and staff shortages…but they are always focused on patient care. The team customise their care to the individual resident…encouraging them to join in the range of activities the home offers…or leaving them to quiet solitude. Lailani and the team are open to feedback, both positive and constructive and we found that we could communicate our and my Dad’s needs and they would be respected. There is a ‘can-do’ attitude and a sense that they are always trying to improve their care.
