My mother was at Scotchman’s creek for more than 5 years. As her son and as a doctor myself I can only praise and speak highly of the level of individual care she received from all staff, which was the most important factor for us. The nursing and personal Care staff were all friendly and caring and nothing was too hard. The communication from and with management was of an excellent standard and they were also very compassionate in how they helped and accommodated my father when he visited mum. The facility was always very clean, modern and the food very good. Mum’s doctor there Dr Nadim was exceptional in his level of care and communication provided. I have visited a number of similar facilities as a GP myself and would rate our experience there very highly. Thank you Blue Cross.
Nice aged care with beautiful surroundings. What let’s this place down is the staff. Manager of Scotchmans is rude & has no time for you. Admissions manager also short with her responses. It is not nice to be this way, because of this we chose another facility.
Facility is ok but the manager is really rude. Its under-staffed facility
A great aged care residence, excellent staff they really care for the elderly and go out of there way to help. The food is great too with plenty of choices. It's location is brilliant, it is situated next to a large park which is part of the property with Scothmans Creek running through the property. The creek is very healthy with numerous ducks on the water. Very clean inside and out. With lots of activities and things to do. If you have an elderly parent who needs to go into Residential Aged Care I would recommend this place.
beautiful facility but rude managers with no social or management skills. Worked here for a very short time
