Blue Care Woodlands Lodge Aged Care Facility, situated at the northern end of the Gold Coast, provides 108 beds catering to low, high, and dementia-specific care needs. The facility features landscaped gardens, multiple indoor sitting rooms, and outdoor areas suitable for family gatherings. Residents enjoy a variety of weekly activities including movie afternoons, shopping trips, BBQs, and social games. Additional amenities include a hairdresser, chapel, on-site bus, coffee shop, and nearby access to local shops, medical and community services, entertainment venues, parks, and public transport.
The facility also contains a Memory Support Unit and offers residential respite care. Family members can stay connected through the CareApp, which showcases resident updates with photos, videos, and audio. Blue Care, a not-for-profit organization, has over 65 years of experience in aged care.

Our father had not had a shower for days, sitting in urine, all his urine soaked clothes hanging over a chair. 1 Asian nurse said we can't make them shower, it's your duty of care to look after these people not just stick them in an end room and forget about them & on top of that a very wound up rude Nurse in charge. Unfortunately for a father due to family dispute his care has been taken out of our hands and put into the care of the state of qld which is doing an appalling job looking after him. Make sure your parents have enduring guardianship in place :(
This pertains to the GCU Hospital interim wing. Absolutely horrible. Two people I know have been transferred here to fix the lack of space at the main hospital, and both have suffered and health has degraded as a result. Same old complaints, dirty sheets, no daily showers, waiting 30-60 minutes for a response, or none at all. Sitting in wheelchairs for hours on end. Family having to call multiple times to get action. Deflective management (covering their own behinds). Forceful unfriendly staff. Wounds not taken care of. Avoid at all cost.
I'm so happy and pleased to report that the service and care at BLUE CARE woodlands ARUNDEL are second to. None. I'm now a resident and am so pleased with the quality of. Service and especially the nursing staff in there duty and care I must also mention the wonderful nurse KELLY who is so professional in duty of care and a joy to be looked after by her thanks KELLY definitely 10stars
Made an appointment for a carer to take me to hospital clinic I was told they would ring me back with a time to be picked up. Five days later have Tried ringing their number several times to cancel because no one has called me the number keeps dropping out. Have made arrangements with another carer to assist me. Shame on you blue care.
