
Sale Elderly Citizens Village Inc, established in 1972, is a not-for-profit community-based organization. It houses approximately 175 residents across eighty-eight independent living units and a seventy-five bed aged care facility, including a 15-bed dementia wing.
The facility features a resident lounge and dining room equipped with modern amenities like T.V, DVD, video, CD player, books, Wii, and lounge chairs. There are four visiting rooms with tea and coffee facilities for guests, an outdoor BBQ area, and an activity room utilised for bingo, bowls, church services, and more.
All living spaces include medically approved beds and private en-suites. Residents can lead their own lives with minimal restrictions, focused on protecting resident rights. Accommodation costs vary based on Centrelink assessments, and the facility offers a range of activities including daily exercise, crafts, and weekly happy hour.

Instead of paying a RAD you can choose to pay a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) which is a non-refundable daily fee, based on the room price and the maximum permissable interest rate set by the Department of Health and Aged Care.
