From our first enquiry, Arcare Slacks Creek was professional in their dealings with our family. The staff are friendly and caring and the premises are clean and well maintained. We are very happy with the service provided.
My Mum was admitted to Slacks Creek Arcare in late March. Whilst the adjustment from independent living has not been easy for her she acknowledges that she is safe, well cared for, well fed and warm. Arcare give excellent care for people in my Mum's position, they are kind and helpful and appear to have adequate staff for the number of residents for whom they care. The staff are excellent, if the resident participates there, are a number of activities to keep them occupied and a glass of good wine or beer with lunch or dinner is always available. From my and my husband's perspective we are very happy knowing Mum is safe, taking her correct medication and eating well. A big step forward for us. We no longer worry about what happens to her in her own home when there is no one there to help her. A big weight off our mind. We live close to the facility and are welcome (covid restrictions notwithstanding) to visit any time so it's easy to pop in and have a coffee or take Mum out for the day. Anyone thinking of this next step for themselves or their loved ones should check this out.
